Match Report:

Bobby dislocated his toe in this one. Freak accident while going for the ball against Grob (as the keeper).

Scoreline was 2:3

Ajis hammered twice assisted by jimmi's passing for his team.

Bobby danced his way through couple of guys before scoring for his team. Chapang's deflected attempt was finished off by Man for the second goal. I'm not so sure bout the third goal, but from what i can gather from the people that were there at the game, Amin scored the decisive winner.

21st June 09

Player List: - will be added soon -

Match Report:

Scoreline was 4-3

Ajis was at the receiving end of a good through ball by Rijal, slotted home to start the game off. Syameer headed in the 2nd goal from corner kick by Adi. It's a great header that caught everyone by suprise, yea it's those "you gotta be there to see it" type of goal.  Adi got himself a simple tap in for the third goal with an assist pass by Ajis. 3-0.

Nizam put one in to start the fightback after a good pass from Chapang. They had a second couple of minutes later, Chapang got himself one on one with Syameer guarding the goal after an Eypul through pass, faked to hammer the ball but instead passed it in. 3-2.

Adi got his brace with a smashing goal 5 yards away, it broke the top off of the small hurdle fence that is the goal. 4-2

Adi got on the scoresheet again but for the wrong reason, as he tried to stop Eypul attempt on goal, he deflected the ball into the goal. 4-3

End Game.

Late weekend review, new Barca is inspiring...

Sunday Pasar Football (SPF) 24th May 2009.

Team '1,2 Jus Menang' 2 - 1 Team '1,2 Jus Kalah'
Scorer:
Angah Amin Ajis

Team Jus Menang(L-R) - Rijal, Ijat, Angah, Aya, Syameer, Amin, Eypul and Ajim

Team Jus Kalah(L-R) - Man, Shahril, Taufiq@Tachal, Lan, Chapang, Ajis, Aidil
sitting (L-R) - Adi and Ezani

Results and events from the previous week's friendly match have spurred a healthy number of players turning up for last Sunday's SPF. A total of 17 players turned up, setting-up a satisfying game of football, filled with drama, action and its share of controversies.

One of the bad habits of Pasar players is punctuality, and the habit is slowly creeping in again with players arriving later than 5.30pm. Kudos to Ajis being the first to arrive followed by Izad Sawang with Aidil arriving much earlier than others, despite Izad's reputation of being an after ‘Maghrib’ player. Starting from next week, the first person to arrive would get a can of 100+ isotonic drink courtesy from the organizer and a mention in the week's report.

Creation of team were done with the magically phrase of "1, 2 Jus!" and with that Team "1, 2 Jus Menang" and Team "1, 2 Jus Kalah" was created. LaNpard and Izad Sawang made their comeback after a lengthy knee injury which kept them sidelines for a few months. Their return was greeted by Tachal, Angah and Aidil, also returning after a long absence.

   VS

A brand new Adidas 'top of the line' ball was at the mercy of the Pasar players and the rough and hard Pasar pitch. The new ball was courtesy of Capang, who also strut his stuff with a pair of brand new Adidas boots which created a lot of attention with its sophisticated design and studs that had to be fitted with a special tool to the boots. It was actually a story of two pairs of new boots as Izad Sawang returned with his customary brand new fabric boot or 'boot kain' in Malay which did not created a lot of buzz other than its cheap price.

After all the commotion, the game started with a 'small goals'. It was a cagey beginning with players getting the 'feel' of the new ball. It slowly then turned into a end to end attacking game, very much like a 'headless chicken race' with players running around with no purpose. Teams were not able to string more than 10 passes before losing the ball, thus play build-up and possession was poor. None of the teams commanded the midfield and it was left to 'those who got lucky' that made the difference.

Eventually 'lady luck' struck Team '1,2 jus menang' as they managed to find a breakthrough and Angah slot in the opener. Team '1,2 jus kalah' didn’t back down and began to run a little harder. Ajis finally got lucky and gave them the equalizer with a smart finish. The match then turned into full field two big goals as Rijal and Aidil provided safe pair of hands at each ends. With a bigger pitch, the game turned to an even more open match-up with numerous opportunities for both teams trying to get a lead. Then came the turning point of the match as Ajis mistakenly passed to Amin who then let fly a shoot that went pass a helpless Aidil to give his team the lead. It was truly a costly blunder by Ajis. Team '1,2 jus kalah' pushed hard for the equalizer with Capang going closest twice with an effort hitting the post and his header was just a few inches outside of the post.

The game eventually ended with Team '1,2 Jus Menang' edging out Team '1,2 Jus Kalah' by a single goal margin.

Men of the Match: Rijal and Aidil for their willingness to be the keeper for the day. Kudos guys!!

Early Bird Award: Ajis Fathan. Keep it up next week and you'll get a can of 100+.

Barca Wins Champions League...acclaims the treble...

It was a very high tension night, i just got back from watching TERMINATOR SALVATION, holy crap that movie was like a big bloated thank you to James Cameron, with MCG unable to create any sort of story to add to this fucked up alternate reality where the machines fucks us in the near future... im not gonna spoil it for the rest of you... it was mediocre at best... MCG fucked up!

Back to the Champs league, to be honest barca were missing key players at the start thru suspensions, Daniel Alves and Eric Abidal. Man UTDD have opted to play with CRonaldo up front and Rooney on the left and leaving their two up and up frontman on the bench, Berbatov and Tevez. Alex...that's mind boggling...

The mood of the stadium was very sombre, with Barca bossing the possesion and playing keep ball very beautifully(something we all should follow), and Man U habing to feed of long balls and playing their unusual self...

Etoo sizing up the toe poke.

1-0, Etoo reels in delight after scoring the first goal.

Etoo scored the first goal to start the final off, a clever turn pass Vidic and a quick toe-poke that was palmed by Van der Sar but it was in the back of the net before he could say "CLEAN SHEET!".

2nd half started like the first, Man UTD pushing up while barca is just coming out from the stables... but normal order was restored 10 mins into the second half and barca with their swagger would dictate how Man UTD should play, DEFENDING!

Messi scored a looping header over van der sar who was left stranded after connecting with a superb ball feeded into by Xavi (my choice of best player). The final was over...

Messi guiding the ball over Van der Sar

Messi showing how much he loves his new boots.

COngrats to Barca, European Club Champs 08/09...well deserved win to highlight their long and battle-ridden season of football, it wasn't easy but they made it through the season with a treble of trophies.

Inspiring team deserves an inspiring youtube video, we are one guys!

Friendly Match Report 16th May 2009.

Post Friendly Match Report 16th May 2009.
UNITEN - ILSAS pitch, Kajang - kick-off 5.45pm

Pasar FC 2 - 2 Damansara United FC
Scorer:
Ajis, Amin
Pasar FC Squad List

1. Grobbler (GK)
2. Zul Mompong (CB)
3. Ah Chong (CB)
4. Shameer (FB)
5. Adi (FB)
6. Aya (MF)
7. Jairil (MF)
8. Ajis (MF)
9. Boboq (MF)
10. Amin (MF)
11. Tachal (CF)

Sub:
12. Assbu (MF)
13. Man (MF)

The first friendly game of the season kicked-off for the Pasar boys as they started the season to face Damansara United FC. An injury-hit and depleted squad travelled south to Kajang with the sole ambition to put in a good performance against a solid DUFC side. 13 players were available for the squad and with fitness and energy levels not at the optimum level, confidence was not at its best level.

Pasar FC started the game with 10 players due to players arriving late, Grobbler was in goal, Zul Mompong, Ah-Chong, Adi and Shameer at the back, Aya, Ajis, Amin, Jairil and Boboq packed the midfield and Tachal as the sole striker. The game was played in 3 exciting halfs, with each halfs lasting around 20 mins.

DUFC started the match brightly as the began to take control of the midfield with some slick interchange of passing. Pasar FC struggled early on to gain control of the ball. Their defence was made to work hard as Ajis had to make a goal line clearance and Grobbler saved a 'one on one' with DUFC's striker early on. Pasar FC only managed rare attacks. As the game got on, Pasar FC began to take control of the game better and managed to put a few passes together. Both teams hussled and worked to gain control of the ball in an evenly contested first half.

The second half started brightly for Pasar FC after some 'constructive criticism' among the players. This proved to be good as Ajis broke the deadlock when he let fly a stunning shot which caught DUFC's keeper off-guard and crept in his near post. It was against the run of play, and injected some belief in the Pasar FC players. They began to win more corner kicks and provided more attacking threat. Before long, Amin made it 2-0 with a superb thru ball which he carried from midfield and coolly finish pass DUFC keeper. Shocked, DUFC's reaction was immidiate as they pushed hard for a goal before the half ended. A free kick from DUFC was a few inches wide of the post as Pasar's FC backline was made too work hard to sustain their 2 goal advantage before the break.

The third and final half resumed with the same pattern as DUFC pushed harder for a goal, and their efforts were rewarded with a solid finish by their stiker to make it 2-1. Confidence grew in DUFC's play as they managed to retain control of the midfield and pushed hard for the equalizer. Pasar FC's players were clearly out-played and out-muscled for large period of the half. However, they managed to keep their one goal advantage until an unfortunate incident made it 2-2. As one of DUFC's players took the ball at the edge of Pasar's penalty box, he got his shot away which deflected off one of Pasar's FC players and agonizingly creept beyond Grobller who was already committed to the other side. It was a cruel blow for Pasar's FC's players and a fortunate reward for DUFC's players efforts. As the half wore on, both sets of players seems contented with the scoreline and the game finished at 2-2. A reasonable result for the Pasar guys considering the limited squad members.

Men of the Match: All 13 Pasar players who turned up amidst their busy schedule for the friendly game. Kudos guys!!

Hakim's Wedding and EuroPass

Caption of the day: STFU! NO one gives a shit!

Sup guys, here's a small update, 2 things:-

  1. Hakim's wedding reception at Bidor on the 14th of June 2009(which apparently is someone's birthday, *wink*)
Here's the Address: No 82 Kg Dato Kamaruddin, 35500 Bidor, Perak. Ur attendance is greatly appreciated.
I need volunteers who would like to go and maybe car pooling to avoid unnecessary wastages of funds.

  2. Team Bola Pasar has a new toy to play around with, let me present to you the EuroPass 2008: -

This is not free though; everyone would be comped to the maximum of RM10 to cover the cost of the ball, which was roughly RM120 (it was a steal). Give your contributions to Ajis.

ok thanks for your time. Salam.

Coming soon >>> Match day preview friendly against the TTDI team... still compiling notes... stay tuned.

Reports of a long dry season in the horizon did not dampen the mood and enthusiasm of 13 Pasar players to turn-up for their final preparation before facing Damansara United FC on the 16th May 2009 for a friendly match. Long spells of sunshine had dried up the pitch and provided a great challenge for the players.

Despite knowing and expecting the heat to descend on the field, few players brought along liquids to ensure that they were not dehydrated. A habit that is normal for Pasar players which could prove deadly for any other ordinary players.

Teams Man-U and Barca were created, and a dress rehearsal 'the Pasar way' for the Champions League final later this month was on! Barca was captained by 'Izzad Messy' and Manu by 'Ajis Scoreholes' and the game got on. It was a cagey affair earlier on as both teams tried to find their feet on a dry hard pitch. Ball bounced higher due to the harder pitch which proved tough for Barca who preferred to play with the ball on the ground. Suspicions of foul play by the host as Barca claimed that the pitch was not watered properly before the game.

Man-U began to take control of the game due to the inability for Barca to keep possession. With the likes of Ajis, Adi, Ajim, Aya and Assbu providing attacking threat with some fine, flowing moves which rattled Barca's goal. Barca's goal literally broke into pieces by the shear force of Man-U's attacking threat. Man-U's persistence eventually paid off with a stunning goal by Ajis, his stunning shot got through amidst a few Barca players and somehow managed to find the goal. 1-0 for Man-U!

Barca players regained their composure and tried to string some passes and tried to keep possession. With the likes of Capang, Mie Kelantan, Izani, Boboq and Shameer, they provided some attacking threat which was marshalled well by Grobbller in Man-U's defence. Barca's dominance kept increasing and limited Man-U to only counter attacks. Barca's backline was covered well with great work by Rijal and Ah Chong. The pace of the game kept going down as both sets of players seems to be lacking of stamina and energy.

With both teams looking for goals, and time running out, the ability to neutralise the attacks with some great defending was key to this match. Ajis's only goal for the day proved to be the decider in an evenly contested match. Man-U won it by 1-0. This dress rehearsal could come true come the real matchday maybe??

Man of the Match – Ajis – This Liverpool fan’s goal proved the outcome of an evenly contested match.

Moments of the Match - Barca's goal exploded into 2 pieces with one of Man-U's attacks.

Champions League Drama - Teflon Gloves and 3 Blind Mice

Disclaimer: This is a massive rant! Don't go pass this line if you're looking for something intelligent to read.

2 great footie games were held midweek to decide the worthy finalists that will light up Rome's Stadio Olimpico pitch on 27th of May this year - after the course of 10 days, it's clear what to print on the UCL Final Tickets - Barcelona vs Man Utd.

Barca vs Chelsea Thoughts:-

Urgh, what can i say about this fucking tie, the worst possible match up to have at a semifinal game for chelsea. Over the course of two ties, Chelsea turtled both games trying to grind out a goal from counterattacks, dead ball set pieces and the "Cech--->Drogba" connection while playing with 6-7 defenders while Barca had possesion. It wasn't pretty, but it was effective, the game ended 0-0 at Nou Camp. After watching the first tie i was expecting the floodgates to open for the returning leg at Stamford Bridge which was reflected by Barca by surgical removing cassilas' will to play for Real Madrid when they won 6-2 at the Bernabau, What a Feat! Chelsea's weekend was another 3 points when they beat Fulham at home 3-1, confidence booster! So last nite i was enjoying the game our local Mamak (hacks@RHB) with Pasar Team's Barca fan, Demon Child and 9 minutes into the game Essien got the game started with a fluke strike on his left foot from a deflected looping ball on the edge of the Barca's box.

Damn! This is gonna be good i thought, but it wasn't as Chelsea turned on their defensive style and restricted Barca with 12 shots and all of them off target, ok 1-0 at 90 mins against Barca, job well done?

I think not! 3 mins into injury time, Iniesta lets loose a scorcher! 1-1 Advantage Barca! Chelsea Heartbreak! hahahah. Fuck! Good Game?

Arsenal vs Man Utd Game

Yea the other game! - I didn't watch this game over both ties, so i can't say shit, instead, i'll just paste pics. Man Utd won the game 3-1. Ronaldo scored twice.

Battle of the Champions League Losers

Arsenal vs Chelsea is this sunday as they meet up for an EPL game. There's alot emotions going into this one, be sure to catch it!

Sunday Pasar Football (SPF) 3rd May 2009.

Team 'Menang O-Som'          3 - 4          Team 'Kalah O-Som'

Scorers:                                      Scorers:

Amin, Syameer, Ah-Chong          Capang, Pesak, Izani, Ajis

Players:                                       Players:

Aya                                    Capang

Ah Chong                           Ajis

Rijal                                    Izani

Amin a.k.a Arshamin                     Lan Specs

Syameer                                      Pesak

Jairil                                    Syam

Hakim                                          Yaseer

As sunshine bathed the Pasar field a sunny, hot and dry atmosphere greets the players for the 3rd successive week of Sunday Pasar Football (SPF).

14 players turned-up this time around, a slight drop in the numbers due to the long Labor Day weekend, as many opted to return to their respective hometown to enjoy some time with their distant family. Teams were created thru the old-school 'O-Som, a.k.a 1, 2 Jus' way and thus Teams 'Menang O-Som' and 'Kalah O-Som' was formed.

The game started sluggishly as the heat and dry conditions proved a tough challenge as the players struggled to cope with the conditions. The pasar players are renowned for their supreme eyesight and the ability to play 'after Maghreb' where sunlight is limited. The bright 5.30pm sunlight that beamed down their backs seemed to be unusual and distracting playing conditions for the players.

It took a while for the players to cope with the conditions and the game gradually picked-up some pace. Mind you, it wasn’t a pace that even the Pasar football school coach would be proud off, nevertheless there was some pace. With some loose defending and great work from Amin a.k.a Arshamin, the deadlock was broken with Team 'Menang O-Som' taking a 1-nothing lead. This proved to be a wake-up call for Team 'Kalah O-Som' to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. With some great pressing-down by Ajis, Izani, Syam, Yaseer and Pesak, Team 'Kalah O-Som' built-up ball possession and pushed for an equalizer with Lan Specs, Yaseer and Capang providing the attacking threat. Team 'Menang O-Som' defended bravely with Ah-Chong, Syameer and Rijal last ditched blocks managed to keep them at bay.

The equalizer came in a fortuitous way as one of Capang's shot was deflected in after some great attacking built-up by Team 'Kalah O-Som' to make the scores level. Sensing that the in-penetrable defense can eventually be unlocked, Team 'Kalah O-Som' piled on the pressure and got their just reward with a second goal, with Ajis bundled it home to make it 2-1. It’s a rare goal for Ajis who looked sprightly with his brand new ADIDAS boots. Team 'Menang O-Som' began to gradually string a few passes around with Jairil, Arshamin, Hakim and Syameer providing the goods. A total lapse of concentration by Pesak allowed Ah Chong to steal the ball from under his nose and slot it home to make it 2-2. It was a comedy error by Pesak who then redeemed himself by plucking the ball from under Ah-Chong's nose, believe it or not, and regain his team's one goal advantage. Bizarre incidents that may be due to the players being dehydrated playing under the hot sun.

Jairil's influence on the game became more and more as he continued to provide strings of passes and spearhead Team 'Menang O-Som's attacking threat. In one flowing move, he managed to release Syameer who finish with aplomb to level the scores at 3-3. Un-rattled by that, Team 'Kalah O-Som' piled on increased pressure and got their just reward with a smart winner by Izani which proved to be the winning goal.

Man of the Match: Unfortunately none of the players this week deserved a MOTM award. Sorry guys got to work harder next week.

27.4.09

Game Report Sunday 26th April 2009.

A cloudy day greets the players as the threat for an evening shower which never did materialize which in turn provided the best conditions which proved to be an exciting evening of football.

Initially the game started with 'small goals' as the players tried to warm-up after a week's rest. As the players numbers grew, and grobbler wanted to strut his stuff as a goalkeeper,

the game turned to a one 'big goal' and 'small goal' contest. This proved to be a catalyst for Team 'Not so old-timer' to break the deadlock with some fine interchanging of passes and another wonderful finish by Jimi.

It was his second goal in 2 games for Jimi, continuing where he left off last week.

The arrival of Rijal turned the match to a full field 2 'big goals' as he volunteered to provide safe hands to the other goal. Thus it proved to be a wise move as he produced some fine shot-stopping antics to keep the scores

at a respectable number as Team 'Not so old-timer' applied pressure with some intense attacks which saw Boy's efforts hitting the crossbar, and Jimi's, Izani's and Syam's drives saved by the keeper.

Seeing that lady luck is smiling over them, Team 'old-timer' then began to put a strong indication of intent with some dangerous counter-attacking moves, led by Amin, Hakim, Capang, Ajim, Assbo and Mie Kelantan.

Their efforts turned to result with a superb move which left Team 'Not so old-timer' defense chasing shadows while Assbo providing the final touch to level the score at 1-1.

Team 'Not so old-timer' confidence grew as the piled on the pressure a won a few corner kicks. Two of which provided their second and third goal. From one of those corner, grobbler mis jugment caused him to drop the ball in front of goal

in which Assbo was there to duly stab home to make it 2-1. Things got worse for Team 'Not so old-timer' as from another corner, a short one taken to release capang on the right who clipped the ball in front of goal,

where slack defending caused confusion in Team 'Not so old-timer' and provided opportunity for Assbo to bundle home his hat-trick. A rare hat-rick for Assbo to complement his hard-work off the ball.

It was some costly defensive errors by team 'Not so old-timer' duly punished by the opposing team.

Team 'Not so old-timer' slowly regained composure and tried to string a few passes around and initiate some attacking intent. Their efforts proved fruitful with a fine strike from Izani to make it 3-2.

Sensing a comeback is on the cards, Team 'Not so old-timer' piled on the pressure with some attacking displays which provided them with great scoring chances. Coupled by Rijal's saves and Ah Chong and Shahril's defending, they managed to keep the attacks at bay.

The game took another interesting twist as 3 players from Team 'Not so old-timer' went off prematurely which forced Hakim to switch sides to Team 'Not so old-timer'. Not to be discourage by the lack of players,

Team 'Not so old-timer' gathered their remaining strength and pursed with the equalizing goal which came from another fine strike from Aya to make it 3-3.

The momentum was with Team 'Not so old-timer' as they pushed for the winning goal and deservedly got their lead with another strike as Aya was left with too much space to strike and made it 4-3.

Team 'Old-timer' just couldn’t get another break thru as improved defending by Adi, Izad Buta and Ajis provided much stability at the back for Team 'Not so old-timer'.

Jimi then rounded off another fine move and made it 5-3 for Team 'Not so old-timer' to complete the comeback.

The game turned sluggish with players lacking the required energy levels to go all the way. As the 'Azan' echoed the darked sky, sigh of reliefs from the players filled the air, signaling the end of the game.

Trully a superb comeback display from Team 'Not so old-timer' to finally defeat a defiant Team 'Old-timer'.

Man of the Match: Assbo - truly superb and well taken hat-rick to cap of a tireless defensive work, determination and commitment. Only some sluggish defending denied him a victory.

Game Report Sunday 19th April 2009.

Team Kahwin vs Team Bujang

Team Bujang vs Team Kawin [2-1]

Match Report done by Syed Azhar

It was a warm, cloudy and humid evening last Sunday, with initially 9 players available. 2 players later joined in to make it a 6 v 5 match.

Ajim, Aya, Izani, Amin & Assbu(late) formed 'Team Kahwin' versus 'Team Bujang' which included Capang, Jimi, Adi, Shameer, Rijal & Ajis(late).

The game started slow with many players having not touched a football for the past 3-4 months. Passing was rusty, and possession was given away rather cheaply by both teams.

Image: Both teams trying to put a foothold into the game but it was 'Team Kahwin' who managed to control the pace and passing of the game early on with 'Team Bujang' counter-attacking.

Fitness levels were dreadful with the guys complaining of tiredness and hotness (even thou it was a cloudy day).

As the game got on, 'Team Kawin' tried to get a break thru but with 'Team Bujang's' water tight defense (in particular Rijal, Adi n Shameer), they were being frustrated.

"Team Bujang' did not offer any attacking threat with the likes of Jimi n Capang clearly out of form.

The arrival of Assbu and Ajis brought some freshness in the game with both teams clearly lacking of energy.

The breakthrough came with a swift counter-attack which released Jimi who had Izani to beat and scored with a crisp finish to make it 1-0 for 'Team Bujang'.

It was a costly mistake from 'Team Kahwin' loosing the ball cheaply in midfield.

Confidence grew in 'Team Bujang' as they managed to retain possession better and provide more threat up front.

Then came the 'wonder goal' from Adi. As he picked up the ball from the back, carried it to midfield and send a looping shot which looped every one and hit the inside post to make it 2-0 for 'Team Bujang'.

Image: It was a 'once in a year' attempt and success by Adi. We might see it again in 2010.

Frustration grew within 'Team Kawin' as they start blaming each other for the goals.

All smiles within 'Team Bujang' seeing their opponent bickering.

'Team Kawin' continued their attack after attack with 'Team Bujang' counter-attacking. As the game grew longer, players seem to be able to get some rust out of their playing and produce some reliable passing stint.

With some crisp passing and movement by 'Team Kawin', they managed to get a goal back thru Amin, to make it 2-1.

'Team Kawin' tried to draw level with relentless attacks with Amin leading the line, Ajim and Izani providing creativity and Assbu marshalling the midfield.

'Team Bujang' hold they form well with Ajis n Adi provided strength and guile in midfield, Capang and Jimi up front and overlapping runs by Shameer.

The game grew much intense as the sound of 'quran recital' echoed in the darkened sky.

As the 'azan' was heard, the game finished with 'Team Bujang' edging 'Team Kawin' by 2-1. A good return to action for all the guys.

Man of the Match: Adi - truly a 'wonder goal' which turned out to be the winning goal. Tireless defensive work and not shy to provide support up front.
